“Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect”. ~ Chief Seattle, 1854
Funny thing about life, we usually have our lives structured in a comfortable fashion and rarely walk outside our shell. Chief Seattle was a wise man in his day and had a vision and understanding about the world around us. We all are connected in one way or another like a strand in an intricate web woven in the most mysterious way. What we do to ourselves affects the entire web and what we do to the web we do to ourselves. At birth we each are given a thread of life and how we weave that thread affects the stability of the entire web of life. You may tell yourself that you are just a small pea in a pot but you have heard the adage of one bad apple destroys the whole lot? Funny how life is. A delicate gift of life yet taken so lightly at times unless one is on the verge of losing it. Life is precious. Oh yes, it is a tangled web we weave sometimes. ~ Patrick
