Across centuries and mountain passes, voices of the past stir again on the slopes of Wy’East, where memory becomes legend.
Some stories cross generations. Some cross time itself.
When Jack Bellard follows a forgotten trail along the slopes of Mount Hood, he discovers more than a path through the wilderness — he steps into the echo of a life lived more than a century before. The voices of Jonathan and Lawitha, carried on winds long gone, begin to slip into Jack’s present in ways he can’t explain…or ignore.
Guided by dreams, symbols, and the restless pull of the mountain, Jack and Lisa find themselves entangled in a mystery that began in the 1800s and refuses to stay buried. As the past and present draw closer, the choices they make will shape not only their own lives, but the unfinished destiny of those who came before.
A journey through time, love, loss, and the quiet power of the land itself —
where the wind remembers what people forget.
