The hallowed pathway through life takes many twists and turns between the distant hills and valleys. Darkness under the towering willows will surely slow the progress of life and recalls passion of earlier times. Yet the end of the journey that lies beyond reveals an expanse of mottled fields inviting azure skies aplenty. The dawn of each day is the guiding light that promises to set once again over the distant seas. Comfort swells of the final destination penetrating our wrinkled core as raindrops fall to soften the waters. Winds blow and swirl around lifting us onward as a kite aloft tenders the string. At a small interlude of rest, we absorb to our breast the emotions of those that have walked before us. Feathers disperse among the grains of sand and the daunting tides, as they reach out to eternity. Travelers may wander off the path and yet, opportunity offers realignment on the mainstay. Life is precious as emerging seeds in the earth reaching to the distant heavens. Lest we forget the delicacies of grace as we entered the world at birth, time passes oh so dearly and binds our sanctuary ~Patrick Timm
